How much does a NEBOSH course cost?
There is no single NEBOSH price, because two different organisations set two different parts of the bill. NEBOSH charges the assessment registration fee: £95 per unit for the National General Certificate units, for applications on or after 1 April 2026. The tuition is priced by the accredited Learning Partner you study with, and NEBOSH's own guidance is that each one sets its own fees. What you pay for a NEBOSH qualification, and who sets it

A NEBOSH course bill has two halves. One half is a published fee set by NEBOSH and identical wherever you study. The other half is tuition, which no one publishes centrally because every accredited Learning Partner prices its own. This table separates them so you can compare quotes on the part that actually varies.
Fee amounts are read from the NEBOSH Learner Fees List (FIN015 version 21, applying to applications on or after 1 April 2026) published at nebosh.org.uk, checked on 14 August 2026. NEBOSH states that these are the fees NEBOSH charges and that some Learning Partners incorporate them into the overall fee you pay them. No tuition price is quoted here because none is published: NEBOSH's guidance is that each Learning Partner sets its own fees, so the only way to get a tuition figure is to ask providers.

Has the NEBOSH General Certificate changed?
Yes. Teaching of the revised syllabus began on 2 February 2026, the first assessments against it were from 4 March 2026, and the final assessments against the previous October 2018 specification were on 6 August 2026. The units are now called GNC1 and GNC2 rather than NG1 and NG2.
Can I self-study for a NEBOSH qualification?
No. NEBOSH requires every learner to register with an accredited Learning Partner and complete the relevant learning before taking an assessment. There is no route that avoids a tuition fee.
